A driver is on the run after allegedly accelerating a car towards police officers and fleeing the scene in Sydney's eastern suburbs, striking other vehicles in the process.
Officers had attempted to speak with a wanted 32-year-old woman when she allegedly drove the vehicle directly at them before making her escape.
The incident involved the car hitting other vehicles during the flight from police. It is understood the woman had already been known to authorities prior to the confrontation.
The driver remains at large as police continue their search. Investigations into the alleged dangerous driving and the earlier matters for which the woman was wanted are ongoing.
