AFL legend Garry Lyon has declared he has absolutely no sympathy for Lachie Neale if the Brisbane midfielder finds himself banned from an AFL grand final as a result of a punching incident.
Lyon, one of the game's most respected voices, made his position clear on the matter, offering no leniency in his assessment of the veteran Lions star's situation.
Should Neale's suspension be upheld and cost him a place in the sport's biggest game, Lyon indicated the player would have only himself to blame, given the circumstances stemmed from his own on-field actions.
