A Ukrainian market trader was chased by a Russian drone in the city of Kherson, in footage shared by President Volodymyr Zelensky that has drawn widespread attention to the targeting of ordinary civilians.
The video, posted by Zelensky himself, shows the man being hunted through the area by the drone in what appears to be a deliberate pursuit. Kherson, a southern Ukrainian city, has remained under frequent Russian attack since Ukrainian forces retook it.
By sharing the footage directly, Zelensky appeared to highlight the danger faced by everyday civilians going about their lives, with even routine activities such as trading at a market now carrying potentially lethal risk amid the ongoing conflict.
