Spencer Leniu delivered a moment of defensive brilliance to rattle Newcastle, making a thunderous hit on Knights winger Dom Young that forced a crucial error within striking distance of the tryline.
The powerful tackle came at a critical moment in the game, with Young unable to hold on to the ball just metres out from scoring — handing Leniu's side a vital turnover and sending a warning to the Knights that they would not find it easy going forward.
The play highlighted Leniu's physical edge and his ability to swing momentum with a single piece of play, as Newcastle found themselves rattled by the ferocity of the hit at such a decisive point on the field.
